I love Hawaiian cookbooks.  They are typically filled with guava, pineapple and the feel of sunshine and ocean breezes  This has that (Yum Yum Bananas (fried bananas), Sesame Cookies, Lazy Man's Chicken Luau). but it also has a section on what to pack and eat when hiking in to Haleakala Crater cabins and lots of interesting history of the beautiful island of Maui.
